Spicy chicken drumsticks goes perfectly well with any occasions - friend gatherings, game and/or movie nights, family unions, and even more. Eating these amazing drumsticks might not be the pretties thing. But let's be honest, you have to give up to earn some unforgettable life experience.

This recipe is very simple. You don't have to spend much time on preparing or cleaning afterwards. A roasting pan with flat rack is all you need.

Ingredients

  • Chicken drumsticks (7-8)

  • 1 tablespoon of paprika

  • 1 tablespoon of cayenne pepper

  • 1/2 tablespoon of crushed red pepper

  • 1 teaspoon of cumin

  • 1 teaspoon of coriander

  • Salt and pepper for seasoning (based on your personal preference)

  • Oil cooking spray

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 420 degrees (Fahrenheit).

  2. Make three or four cuts on each chicken drumstick. The cuts should be deep enough to reach the bone.

  3. Mix the seasoning with cayenne pepper, paprika, crushed red pepper, cumin, coriander, salt, and pepper. Then season the drumsticks.

  4. Place the drumsticks on the flat rack. Spray the oil evenly on the surface of the drumsticks. Flip the drumsticks and spray on the other side as well.

  5. After the oven reaches 420 degrees, place the roasting pan into the oven for 20 mins. Then, turn on the "Broil" setting. Adjust the pan so it's underneath the heating element at the top of the even. Broil the drumsticks for 3 minutes. Take the pan out and flip the drumsticks. Broil the other side of the drumsticks for another 3 minutes.

  6. Take the roasting pan out of the oven. Let them set for about 5 minutes.

Another thing I like about these spicy chicken drumsticks is that they can be paired with a lot of different sides My personal favorite is baked sweet potatoes. Nothing is better than the combination of spiciness and (a little bit of) sweet.
